The Millennium Elephant Foundation (MEF) is a charity and rescue organization dedicated to the care and protection of captive Asian elephants in Sri Lanka. Located on a 15-acre estate in Kolongalla, near Kandy, MEF provides medical care, rehabilitation, and ethical tourism experiences for elephants.
