Overview

The National Zoological Gardens of Sri Lanka, also known as Dehiwala Zoo, is one of the oldest zoological gardens in Asia. Established in 1936, it is located in Dehiwala, Colombo, and spans 10.1 hectares. The zoo is home to over 3,000 animals across 350 species, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and aquatic life.
