Nawalapitiya Railway Station is a historic and strategically important station located in Nawalapitiya, Kandy District, in Sri Lanka’s Central Province. Opened on 21 December 1874, it lies on the Main Line and serves as a key junction for trains traveling between Colombo and the hill country destinations like Nanu Oya, Ella, and Badulla.

The station features three platforms and two siding loops, and is one of the longest railway stations in Sri Lanka.
