Kandy Lake, also known as Kiri Muhuda or the Sea of Milk, is an artificial lake located in the heart of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It was built in 1807 by King Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe, adjacent to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. The lake is surrounded by a scenic walking path, offering views of the hills and the city. Fishing is prohibited as the lake is protected.
